There are two types of homeowners:
The homeowners who want metal roofing because they know about metal roofing.
And the homeowners who don’t yet know about metal roofing.
In other words, once people learn about it, they want it.
The problem is that not enough people know about it, AND once they do they still worry about the price.
Yeah… It looks gorgeous, and it’s ultra-protective.
But it costs twice as much, at least.
This makes marketing metal roofs difficult because you can’t use a lot of the tactics people use when trying to market asphalt roofs.
So how are metal roofs marketed successfully?
How do you get people on the phone to talk about buying a metal roof from you?
You have to do a few really important things:
You need to create advertising that causes them to stop and pay attention.
They need to read something that causes them to feel that your business provides more value than anyone else, and this has to happen without discounts, sales, etc., because people see right through that.
The ad needs to make them feel that they need to act on it now.
When reading the ad, they need to feel like they’ve already lived through what it would be like to actually get a metal roof from you, and how great the experience was.
Their objections should be dismantled just from reading the ad, making the phone call with them and eventual sale a million times easier.
The above only scratches the surface with regard to how to get metal roofing leads, so there’s a lot more.
I’d love to explain it to you in detail on a phone call if you like.
On the call, we’ll talk about your business and where you are now, but also where you want to be.
Then, if I know I can help you get there, I’ll explain exactly how, and you can ask me any questions you like.
It’s a no pressure situation.
Because at the end of the day, I want one thing:
I only want to work with metal roofing contractors I know I can help, and who want to accomplish those things together.
